This voice and body workout can be described as a ‘gentle yoga-like’ practice that is taken from Kristin Linklater’s voice progression. Stretching and movement in this class releases the habitual tensions in your body and breathing musculature. As your breath and voice loosen up, you develop resonance by sensing and spreading the vibrations through the bones of your body. Then we address deep tensions that develop in the jaw, larynx, and tongue, and encourage your voice to find a free and focused pathway beyond those tensions.
