Speaker: Vivian Majkowski
Vivian Majkowski holds an MFA in Voice and Speech from the American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University. Ms. Majkowski is an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida. Professionally, she has coached at such theatres as the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, American Players Theatre, A.R.T., Orlando Shakes, and TheatreWorks in Colorado. And she regularly dialect and voice coach for film and television and digital media working with such actors as Kristin Stewart, Naturi Naughton, William Hurt, Rupert Grint, Stana Katic, and one of her favorites, the late Alan Rickman. Ms. Majkowski is the co-chair of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association’s (VASTA) Interdisciplinary Engagement Committee and sits on the Editorial Board of the Voice and Speech Review.
