Please review the information below as your attendance at the conference is conditioned on your understanding of these terms and conditions.
Cancellation Policy (Inability to Attend)
VO Atlanta DOES NOT directly manage refunds. ALL VO Atlanta Registrations are managed by a third party. Any request for refunds or cancellations will be managed by Rainprotection Insurance (Underwritten by Lloyd’s of London) and provide a level of coverage never before offered.
This “inability to attend” insurance provides a 100% refund if you are unable to attend the event for a reason outside of your control that is covered under the policy. This coverage starts on the date you pay for registration and ends on the first date of the show. See the “Cancellation Insurance” section for details.
What is covered:
We want you prepared to respond to anything life throws your way. You will receive a 100% refund of your registration fees for any one of the following reasons:
- The death, injury, or illness happening to the attendee or exhibitor, a member of their immediate family who is under the age of 70, or any person(s) in the group due to attend the event with the attendee or the exhibitor;
- Adverse weather including snow, frost, fog or storm where the police service or other local government agency have issued a warning not to travel;
- Mechanical breakdown, accident, fire or theft en route of a private vehicle taking the attendee to this event;
- Jury duty which the attendee was unaware of at the time of registration;
- The attendee being summoned to appear at court proceedings as a witness which they were unaware of at the time of registration;
- Burglary or fire at the residence of the attendee in the forty-eight (48) hours immediately before this event that required attendance of the emergency services;
- The attendee is a member of the armed forces and being posted overseas unexpectedly;
Unexpected disruption of the public transport networks the attendee could not have reasonably known about before the date or time of this event;
- Being either relocated for work more than one hundred (100) miles from the work location and within a 30 day period from date of booking or the attendee is unexpectedly terminated from their job, for which the attendee was unaware of such relocation or redundancy at the time of booking. (SUBJECT TO EXCLUSIONS)
By paying for your registration, you are also acknowledging what is covered under the registration insurance policy.
We will provide a form to request the cancellation of your conference registration and you will be provided a link to the claims system in order to request a refund.
Canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations.
“Inability to Attend” Refund Insurance is now provided as part of your registration.
You will receive a 100% refund of your registration fees if you are unable to attend this event due to any of the following reasons:
How to Submit a Claim: To request a refund, please go to claims website: Rainprotectionrefunds.com
You will be asked to enter some information and provide a few supporting documents. Your refund will then be issued.
We do not allow for registration transfers of conference registrations. Any need to cancel a registration falls under the terms of our inability to attend policy and is handled by an outside company. Please see the other sections of this page for details and instructions on how to file a claim for a FULL REFUND.

Code of Conduct (Behavior)
VO Atlanta Code of ConductVOA Code of Conduct
At VO Atlanta, we expect most people are respectful and well-intended and we’re not inclined to behave in an unprofessional manner. However, we want every conference to provide a harassment-free and professional experience for everyone.
We want everyone to enjoy the conference itself and the great networking and community richness that happens when we get together in person, so we will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form—in person or online.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof); displaying sexual images; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. Further, please understand that VO Atlanta welcomes differences of opinion and expect that each attendee is entitled to their personal viewpoint.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
Sponsors and vendors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes or otherwise create a sexualized environment.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including expulsion from the conference with no refund.
If you are being harassed, or notice that someone else is being harassed, please bring it to the immediate attention of the event staff, or contact our Associate Producer, Ron Minatrea, at email@example.com.
VO Atlanta features a number of well-established talent, coaches/presenters, agents, and directors. Please refrain from attempting to press them for private attention. The conference is for all to enjoy. That means being considerate of others and respecting both the time and space of those in attendance.
We thank you for your help in keeping the event welcoming, respectful, and friendly to all participants.
VoiceoverCity, LLC (VO Atlanta) has the sole discretion, without refund, the right to refuse admittance to or expel from VO Atlanta anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that violates our Code of Conduct or could be disruptive to the Conference or any other attendee.
Lanyards, or Wrist bands, issued to attendees at registration, are required for admittance at all times. Registration is non-transferable.
