Paul Boucher

Professional Voice Actor

Paul Boucher has been a full time voice actor since 1999. Before that he ran a parallel voice acting and broadcasting career going back to - gasp! - the 70’s. His primary VO career focus has been on eLearning with things really lifting off with courseware designed for Microsoft’s Office 97 in …1997.

Since then, Microsoft has been a return client as have MetLife, Harley Davidson, most of the world’s oil companies (geographic accident), the Governments of Canada and the US, GE, Alcatel Lucent, Disney, NASA, Mercedes Benz, and many more.

Along the way there’s also been documentary work for National Geographic, and Discovery Channel, national and regional commercial work for Toyota, BMW, Ford, national food brands and more. Most of the work has been in English, but Canadian French localization for everything from ATV’s to vaccines has also been a big part of the work.

Paul’s looking forward to sharing his eLearning experience at VO Atlanta, and in particular relating how as a US based VO talent, YOU’RE the foreign talent that the rest of the world can use to localize for the American market. Paul has mentored in his market and beyond since the 90’s and enjoys facilitating “liftoff” to successful voice careers whenever possible.

Thom Pinto, one of the leading documentary and reality series narrators brings his decades of experience to VO Atlanta 2017.

Heard in 2016 on Discovery’s Arctic Rescue, TLC’s Outrageous 911, The Weather Channel’s American Supernatural and Smithsonian Channel’s Crazy Monsters, his range as a talent is perhaps only exceeded by his ability to direct actors in the ever-growing genre of “in-show” narration.

His recent commercial television voice-over credits include AT&T U-Verse, Cesar Dog Food, Fuze Tea and Kaiser Permanente Medicare.

And since 2007, has been part of the CBS News family, voicing for CBS This Morning, 48 Hours, and the CBS Evening News.

Besides directing an X-session for broadcast narration at VO Atlanta in March, Thom will also be a presenter, sharing his Colors of Your Voice technique, which he has taught to hundreds of talent in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and across the country.
